    Kokomoka Forrest

    Any one have any experience with this place? Off highway 5 just after Taupo. Not after spot X but more general info like animal numbers and how safe it is to leave cars at road ends.
    Thinking of checking it out for some day hunts.

    Can't help you with that side of the waipunga, however the other side is tight, thick nasty ass bush with lots of hook grass... Only attraction to that side would be that it borders farm land imo. Much better places to hunt like Kiko.
