    LATE FOR BREAKFAST

    This young yearling doe was late for breakfast.I gut shot her to claim all the meat.She walked another 8 mtrs or so.I thort im not chasing you so I drilled her again.She fell over at last,got some nice meat off her.

    The first comment I'd make is one of those shots looks to be nicely in the crease.
    The next is, is a gut shot something people intentionally do ?? Certainly doesn't sit well with me.

    Guess while she was walking the second shot tracked back abit.Not quiet gut shot or crease shot.To bad,people don't like the wording,gut shot,harden up bit.

    I think Trouts saying that he went for a behind the shoulder shot, she didn't drop straight away and he shot again and it hit further back but dropped her.
    Unsophisticated... AF!

    I only take legs n steaks,guess that's not all the meat,lols.Never mind John,I got 11.773 kgs of prime meat.
    Most deer I shoot (about 20 a year)are shot just at the base of neck,or shoulder rear crease.Any big boys and girls,centre of shoulder is where the 308 breaks the front diff,no more walking.
