Get out there GM. Time alone in a tent is therapeutic.

It would be doable VC but I reckon my Missus would divorce me if I let one go from the house while she was home. Of course what happens while she is out is an entirely different story.

This phone has a small keyboard for these fat fingers. The eyes don't seem to work as well as they used to either. Now hand me a jar of that moonshine and try keep up with this fiddle. Looks like tomorrow will be the best chance weather wise.

You are not too far back in the woods then. Still got cell phone coverage.

That is really annoying Deer243. It will take some time for the deer numbers to build back up in the area.

True that but I am one that would like to see the deer reach a point where they achieve a natural balance on the land. I find it difficult to believe that the deer in this country eat anywhere near as much as the Moa did in their hey day.

Ended up fixing too much broken farm gear and ran out of daylight to get organized to visit the Leatham on Tuesday. Wednesday night heavy rain and rivers likely to be in flood.

Maybe Friday/Saturday, I'm determined to get there.
