Lots of goats at turkeys nest.. couple nice guts at either side of turkeys nest, were chocker with goats pats year when I went up there. Shitty thick stunted wilding pine all around the biv, better off to climb the opposite face onto a ridge(western side) or walk up the gravel washout to get to the open. Were a couple old stag rubbings, nothing impressive though, and not the sort of place I’d go back to. Half way to hidden hut though is a nice broad leaf stand that would be worth sneaking into on a windy day

I went up to Boulder forks today. The road is fine there.
This is the "bridge" across to the Branch. Open from 12:00pm Fridays to 8:00am Mondays.

I walked up to the saddle along the fence line ( @woods223 @300wsm for life is faster than me too). Ended up knocking over a few goats in the head of Station creek.

Maybe I miss took the time. Haven't been up there for 18 months give or take. Don't remeber it taking me very long to get to the top. @Shearer did you see any deer?

You are probably right with your time. I was quite a way up and thought that 1:15 was going to be about right. Then I started seeing deer so stopped and watched for a while. Ended up seeing 3 on the way up.

You could take a 2wd up the Branch. They have been logging it. Up to Bottom Gordons is a bit tricker (past Barbers) but the stock Prado handled it no worries.
