Nice work, well done on sticking at it. I vividly remember my first - Just before Christmas last year. Been on a dry run since

Smith checked out the bolt and reckoned it is sweet, will be making some enquires about the ammo now
That has been swapped out for a basix trigger by previous owner
Well done young fellah.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Great work, things should get better from now on but you will still get periods of no luck. Stick with it it's the best sport on the planet.
Congratulation.
Regarding your rifle, get the headspace checked. After that The firing pin can be adjusted I believe on savages bolts.
Yep I'd get another gunsmith to have a look at that bolt!
Don't know who you use. But if he thinks it's sweet and has not solved the issue, I'd not be happy with that.
Somethings not adding up here? Your ammo did not take a swim did it?
Two miss fires I'm thinking bolt our head space.
Take it down the fireing range with the same ammo and see if it dose it again.
If so then look for another gunsmith.
Ammo has never been wet, bolt face seems to have a fair amount of brass rub/dust on it? Will clean up the bolt and have a go at the farm and see if there is any improvement
