I may be staying down at Nydia Bay at the end of summer. Plenty of public lands around there. Anyone spent much time around there? Productive?

A few reds, pigs and lots of wasps in around that area, the Nydia track gets busy during that time of the year.
You will need to know the DOC boundaries.
I’ve got all the boundaries sorted and have scoped out here all the tracks are. Looks pretty bushy from the satellite images?. Does it get busy around there?

Depending on what you call the end of summer it could be extremely busy.
"Hunting and fishing" fucking over licenced firearms owners since ages ago.
308Win One chambering to rule them all.
Lots of trampers and tourist during Christmas holidays right through to end of March at times, bush is thick in places but well worth a walk.
Probably around Easter I think. If it’s a busy spot I may give it a miss and just take a fishing rod instead

You might as well take a rifle you will probably hear stags roaring.
Used to pig hunt it years ago, had plenty of pigs back then. I went for a walk from duncan bay thur to nydia bay couple of years ago. Saw some deer sign, bush seemed thicker than i remember it. Be heaps of people around at that time of year
