    Marlborough Sounds Reserves

    G’day all,

    Bow hunter here heading up to the sounds for a couple of days and will probably take a stroll around the hills.
    Goats, pigs, and the occasional red DOC tells me...a lot of space and islands up there to explore.
    Anyone have some Marlborough Sounds war stories? Are the blocks any good or shall I pack myself a venison
    sandwich to cry into when I pull up stumps?

    Lots of private forests in the area. I am aware of one guy who got done for trespassing a few weeks back.

    With the poisoning of doc controlled land and the prololififc introduced animals on private blocks I would be having a long look at bounderys and hunting Doc mismanaged land close to a significant area of private land.
    Definitely be sure you are on public land.
    "Hunting and fishing" fucking over licenced firearms owners since ages ago.
