Thread: Mill Creek - Wanaka Block

Hey Guys,
Wondering if anyone has been into the Mill Creek Block in the Wanaka Ballots. I have this for the last period and was hoping to get some knowledge on the area.

Also recommendations on the heli operators in the area.
I am taking the old man whos not fit enough to walk in but just wants to experience the alps hunting experience even if it is as camp cook.

This is a few year old thread been and gone now. To note the block was pretty much devoid of deer. Ended up just being my brother and I and we fly camped all around the block and didn't see a deer. Plenty of Cham probably saw 50 with a few mobs of nannies in the 12-15 range. It's some nice country to be in and may have a few deer running around on occasion just didn't while we were in.
