That's the great thing about her almost earning double what I do, just not worth it for her.

I'm just talking a big game, must be doing something right to get to 12 years and still happy

    Pregnant?

I can attest to @Nibblet and his behaviour with his exceptional example of the species. She gives zero f$%ks with what he says

I did have an oh no moment when I reached into my bag to put the silencer on the rifle, and oh crap, it's still on the bench at home. Changed to point of impact too much without it to be useful so I swapped to the shotgun. I always like a plan 'B'.

Haven't had a 'forgetful hunting experience ' yet (touchwood) but went hunting in the Kaimanawas with my hunting buddy who will remain nameless (eh Lee ), we stayed at Sika Lodge at the start of Clements Road.....

drove a good 20km to Army Rd camp, started to get geared up.....i hear a sheepish 'bro, ive left my rifle back at the lodge' FFS, a 'quick' 40k round trip and we were into it.....live & learn, live & learn.....

Was on a charter in Dusky a few years ago. It was a hunting day so 3 of jumped off the boat in one location and the boat streamed off to drop some of the others off in another location.

I had a Rem700 and the other two with me had Sako 75's, both in 7mm08. There were others on the trip with Sako in both .308 and 7mm08 too. Once on shore, magazines were inserted. But one of the boy notice a bigger diameter projectile in the mag. He picked up someone else 308 mag from the table.

Quick call on the radio to the boat and inform the others that someone else was going to use 7mm08 in his 308(likely to be a bit rattly going down the bore).

No damage done due to everyone confirming what ammo they are loading into the rifle.

    That moment when. ...

You wake up to the first deer you have ever had a chance to shoot running away from your snoring along the pebbles.

Cycle the bolt only to ram another one up the arse in my sleepy stooper of the well prepared rifle that already had one up the spout in preparation, cycle bolt again whilst pushing next one in mag down, whistle and wait for the chance to shoot. Got it in the neck and thankfully not up the out hole.

Made it's way from 2m to 92m....... oh and managed to smack myself in the nose with scope on the shot.

Still, scored my first deer so was happy.

last trip I forgot the barbymate so I had to flip whitebait patties and backsteaks with a knife and fork but somehow I survived.
@HNTMAD Santaclause was telling me you forgot to remove the keys from your truck and it somehow locked itself?

Got half an hour out of town on the way to go tramping once when a mate realised he forgot his boots... at least it wasn't 3 hours later though!
