That time when my mate was fucking with his shotty and locked the trigger....heavy stick to lug around all day
have a mate who is lacking in organisation skills, most of us get our gear out check it and prep 1 or 2 weeks ahead of a trip.....this guy will grab everything and go on the day of the trip......once he grabbed his 308 bolt and ammo and put his 10/22 in the gunbag didn't realise till in the bush (ok it was dark but would have thought the difference in weight of the 10/22 to his howa would have raised some flags .....

Over the years hunting mates have;
Left rifle on deck at home whilst at Boyds for a long weekend.
Left sleeping bag on bed at home whilst hunting at Aurthers Pass.
I once thought it would be a good idea to only take a 150g down liner and a bivy bag on a tops trip into the Ruahines, in my defence it was January, but shit it was cold!
I've forgotten all sorts of things on trips and had to buy things on the way, once brought a second hand mattered from a second hand store in Featherson, it was so shitty I left it in the hay shed we were sleeping in!
At a fire had roast chicken meals delivered without cutlery, luckily they had tin foil covers; fork making competition!
Been diving without weight belt once, fins another time...
That moment when.......... Rounding a corner on a fav clearing You go from meat devouring hunter to nature loving camera guy
A big fast bullet beats a little fast bullet every time
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
