That's right, not far at all from your house. We were all out there at some point! Half the old houses out there were built by one or another pfahlert. In amongst grandads old photos that I have is an original of robin Francis smith standing over his cow moose in fiordland. I can only imagine the excitement on those few hunts for the big beasts.

Back when men were men When I was young and especially first started going to the local pubs I think I took meeting and knowing a lot of those old hard buggers for granted. I used to think they were all stuck in the past.
I wish I could recount half of the stories I was told about our back yard. For some reason as I get older I find the history of our local valleys and South Westland more and more interesting. Not just the hunting but some of the gold and mining history is amazing.
Do what ya want! Ya will anyway.

Better they start feeding some people 1080, humans are messing up the environment more than any deer ever will!

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
