    Haha better than my first deer. I was too puffed and too excited to shoot straight. Clipped it in the back but didnt hit the spine...it probably would of walked it off too. But A knife sorted that out before it could recover from the shock.

    Contracts man, Dont think all Taranaki deer are that easy (according to doc website there is no deer here haha), but no chance of getting them sitting at home.

    Your first deer is a memorable occasion and one you'll never forget. I can tell you where, when and how I shot my first deer... more than 35 years ago... which is more than I could tell you about loosing my virginity!
