My first Ever Goats A Couple years ago.

    Hey Team,

Haven't posted in awhile so thought Id share a old photo from when I first got my gun license.

Me on the left and my best bud Deano on the right decided to head to the hills for some shooting practice. Ended up spotting some goats so thought why not lined a couple up and boomfa down they went for the pot.

As we were walking over to to check the damage, we spotted this little fella he ran straight over to us ( I think we must have taken the mum out by accident) so with a quick rugby tackle we grabbed him and decided we better take him home with us. As i wasn't to sure on his age and if he would make it by him self and look at his face we couldn't just leave him there.

So of to Farmlands and the pet shop we went for goat milk, bottle, collar, leash, toys blanket.

Yea okay we did get a bit carried away we were flatting at the time and thought hed make a great first pet haha. (CT was his name)

He lived with us for about a month or two had his bed by the fireplace being winter at the time. Loved eating our strawberries garden and playing on the wood pile.

We ended up giving him to my little brothers friend once he out grew the flat and was big enough to take care of himself, who lives on a farm and he still has him today!

This would have to be one of my favorite hunts, Good times.

    Happy Hunting.

Nice one, goats are real characters as pets, till they start trying to bunt your knees.

Every young mans flat should have a mascot.

Nice of you fellas to save the kid, their pretty cool little critters when tame.
Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

    hahahaha

I've seen the toughest hunters succumb to Baby Goats.

Last year two of my hunting mates took my knife off me because I was gonna cut the throats of three that we had found.

They took one each and gave the third to a friend for his wife's 50th birthday prezzy.

she loves that prezzy so much I think it's been written into her will .... ahead of the hubby.

My mother has raised three to old age too .... she just loves them.

They make real good pets that's for sure..... quite tasty too if you can bring yourself to do the business.

    Cheers
    Pete

A pet Tahr would be bloody awesome.

Who else would have a pet like that?
