New Equipment needed for hunting Thar in Twizel

A friend of mine got a phone call from his kids while on holiday in Twizel earlyer this month
    the message was

DAD the dog (a 5 monthy old pup) has just put up a Thar behind the crib

After he hung up he jumped back in the car 5 minutes away from the crib he was in Twizel doing shopping
speed home to find the bloke from down the road had shot home for his rifle after a long story the thar had swam over to an island in a pond and was shot with a 223 it stumbled into the water again and died half way to the shore this was on dark
the thar sank to the bottom
The bloke from next door again shot home and came back with his scuber gear after doning his wet suit mask tanks and flipers he entered the pond and retreved the animal
It was found to be a young bull who had a very unlucky day

So if you are looking to go Thar hunting around Twizel just remember to take you dive gear with you

That is a very enterprising and determined neighbour. I would want him on my side in any game you care to name.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
