    Have just been down Ohakune way for the last 3 days and must have seen close on 70 goats (on both farmland whilst driving to my doc hunting area) and also doc land. So if you're willing to drive a bit and are keen enough to brave the cold, PM me and i can give you a general area.

    Dude between Taumaranui and Te Kuiti Sunday they were even on the side of the road - paying no attention to the traffic whizzing by at 100+Km/h... Would have seen maybe a dozen and a half chewing the new growth

    So they're definitely around...

    Yeah I saw a few that way also. They were on farmland however. Who knows, the farmer may be keen to have them removed
