Is this real? Came up on a FB group I'm on.

I saw a different photo of the same animal on a FB page.
It will be farm bred deer, either shot on the farm, or recently released on a fenced off safari park.

Is that a town in the background of the photo?

Murray Sim was saying about how up Marlborough some of the trophy stags were dieing from the weight of head over covid as not being shot. Pretty horrid death.

I used to look down on canned hunting. These days I see it a little different, meaning, it keeps these types of 'hunter' in a safe environment etc, and away from the real country where we all like to be. While I personally don't think the 1000 point stags are particularly attractive, beauty is each-to-their-own.
