new stainless t3 rifles on market

open mailbox yesterday and there was a brand new hunting and fishing summer catalogue with that girl karen on the front smiling at me and holding a smallish kingi. anyway filicked thru the pages as you do, and i see that h and f have introduced to the market tikka t3 stainless with a twenty inch barrel that is factory threaded for a suppressor. it comes with a five shot mag that sticks out the bottom which to me looks dam ugly. for a few hundred bucks more it can also cum with a dan hardy suppressor fitted, and for a couple of hundred more it also comes with a cheap scope. it is on page 114 if feel the need to have a look. it will be intresting to see how they sell and preform. thoughts anyone ?

T3's are very nice and good value for money which is why i believe they've sold so well, i'd love to have one..... but if i was going to spend $1600-$2000 on a rifle, i'd buy a sako.
I appreciate it doesn't come with a threaded barrel and suppressor but its a nicer rifle and you can always save up and buy a suppressor later on down the line

    Just my 2C

Mind you when i was on H'n'F on sat, i picked up and had a play with a Kimber, think im in love...

What is the difference to the normal t3 which you send to Dan and he chops it anyway to fit his suppressor. Is someone reinventing the wheel?

I saw a T3 in Dunedin at H/F last week
It had a spiral Fluted bolt and spiral fluted barrel, It was coated black by Greystone and all set off in B&C black/grey spiderwebbed stock.
I'd have preferred straight barrel flutes, but gotta admit it didn't look 1/2 bad.

I used to have a standard T3 with extended mag, it was pain frankly, as it was at the centre of gravity.
And a 20" barrel carbine T3 in .270 is frankly pointless, may as well get the 7mm-08 with the speeds it will be down to.
