Almost a frost this morning on the kaimanawa tops. Was raining ,cold and foggy the night before.
We came back this avo with two animals shot by a mate this morning and last night.
But yes it was super hot at lower altitude.

Out goat shooting today Quartz Creek, Mt. Royal. Was fairly cool first thing this morning but was already getting pretty hot by 9:30. Easily 30 degrees by 1pm, warm enough for me and the dog to start losing interest in proceedings.
