Thread: North Canterbury delivers again

Quick trip to Culverden with a very old (not in age) mate who I haven't been hunting with for awhile. Great yarn on the way up/back. Short Swedes guiding services delivered again. Was talking about previous outings and we all know that jinx's every trip. 100 % removal rate-- saw 1 and shot it. Picked it up early on with the good old "Piercing the Darkness" green light then turned it off and walked closer, didn't even move when the light was on it. Mate missed the first shot wobbling on my shoulder but pole axed it on the second. Venison in the truck by 6.45 pm. Farmer happy, hunters happy.
