FFS this really dissapoints me. You can see where the powers that be are coming from when they push for arms reforms when there's people out there that are improper people to be owning firearms, paint it anyway you like but the person that has shot another person was not a fit and proper person, they obviously had zero impulse control which is a dangerous type to be using a firearm, obviously also had no regard for the law as they have broken one if not more of the seven rules. Let them rot and leave us responsible firearms owners alone.
I'm sure more information will come out over time but I'm gonna take a stab in the dark and guess that the hunter that has shot someone was also one of these guys that goes hunting once a year, in the roar, they often are and I think that is one thing that has to change, I'm not sure how but going out one time in the year with your neck swollen up more than a roaring red stag full of adrenaline and a rifle in your hands is not a good combination and that needs to be realised by hunters themselves, a fit and proper person is going to tell themselves I'm not ready for this, I need to get out and see some animals, breathe some fresh air and have my head right before going I to an area during the roar where there is a definately possibility of other hunters also.
