So you are deep in Fiordland and shoot a good animal, which is going to mean really big, think about how long it takes and how difficult it can be, to get anywhere in there on shank's pony, you really think they lug about a pack full of meat the whole time? Look at the animal and think about the weight and space taken in the pack..........What condition would it (or they) be in by the end of the trip? No, no and no.

I mean the other fellas. The duleys do a great job of using what they shoot. I find myself watching the shows through the eyes of my missus.
She simply refuse to watch the other main one now after the losing of animals and, what she sees, as pointless bow work only to have the thar get too far to retrieve.

Those other boys are animals. I don't know Blake and Monty personally but already knew of them before the show. I imagine they took the best stuff and ate it as they went

I wonder what sort of employment contract Emil has. Coming from a country whose highest mountain is 170m they sure abuse the f*** out of him making him carry camera gear up over 3000m. What was his comment on the last crest of Mt Tasman "now its my turn to do this shit"!

Don't underestimate Viking Stock, pretty good at integrating with the locals, wherever they land...

Always thoroughly look forward to the sika episode every season. Last night was as always another great bit of viewing. I’ve been really enjoying how they tie in the hunts that show them going back to shoot hinds too. Walking the talk and demonstrating it to everyone. Awesome

I'm having a crack at making biltong today as a result of the last episode.

another great episode...the banter between Willie and his mate was priceless, can tell they been mates for years to be able to do that and not get offended,Emil did well to capture it.
and once again Mum /Fiona shows she sure can shoot...no mucking around for that lady,up and bang ,animal goes down.... the earlier episodes with her bush stalking sika, you almost feel sorry for the deer.
