Great couple of episodes. Neat way to finish the trip with Shay getting her buck. Those small goods looks delicious. I really enjoyed the end where Willie was explaining why they where targeting hinds, good way to get that message out there.

I really liked the explanation of the scopes too. Especially how they didn't just show the high-tech options to please the sponsor. They also mentioned the traditional old school few inches high at 100 metres/point blank style too.

Yep, very well done. The explainer segments have taken a nice step forwards this series I think - enough information to give you an idea of the depths of the knowledge and technology available to us to improve the experience if we so choose without getting bogged down.

I find it heartening how many people here report non-hunters watching and enjoying this series. It's a credit to the work they put in and that they've learnt a lot as the years have gone on - well done to the team!

And on top of that Emil's kiwi accent is coming along nicely

An added bonus for watching using TVNZ On Demand is "NO ADS"

Im just finding the whole show very relatable and super aspirational. Its nice to watch something and be able to think, "I have an approximation of that gear, and if I put in the work, I could achieve that result"
Doing the math on the gear value and private access required on some of the other hunting media can be pretty daunting.
Im also enjoying not being marketed too for the entire show, some stuff has more not so subtle ads during the episode than in the ad breaks!

    Just watched it.

Well done Shay, what a champ.

Quote of the day goes to Emil.."I'm quite proud of my flatmate,"

Good on you @NZ Hunter Adventures for portraying our back country hunting the way it should be.

    Excellant as always !!

I liked the "I wish you looked at me the way you look at cheese" quote.
Slightly off topic but I watched "Hunt with Me" on Maori channel again last night. A good watch.

He was getting her back from the first episode when she said to him “I wish you looked at me the way you look at coffee”
