    Cousin of mine shot a fallow doe with a 375 Holland & Holland a couple of years back . There was less meat damage than when he used his 7.62x39 round.

    Yep thats one of the reasons I've gone to the bigger cals ,plus never needed a second shot ever and so far no tracking DRT.
    Velocity is thrilling,but diameter does the real killing.
