    Which makes me think a day off work and a road trip are in order to get this sorted. I will call gunworks tomorrow and have a chat to them about their perceived time frames.

    And yet you can still buy over the counter without any need for a firearms licence. I have bought two suppressors in the last month over the counter. I hear that is to change soon though.

    bought a suppressor on sun didn't realize you had to show your license for one. Gee should i be asking people that come in to by small washers and machine screws and springs for a fal now...so what's the go if I'm buying the suppressor to put on a springer air rifle

    an S43a for a rifle took around 4 months before the buyer received it and the other one i did was approx 7 weeks.

    Good news. There is a guy in Blenheim making suppressors so will look at his before going mail order.

    DPT state on their site, easier to deal with your local store who can source for you than do the form to buy directly off them.

    Yep, not a fan of our local hunting and fishing store for reasons I won't get into. This post is not about that. Would prefer not to deal with them.
