Pigs on the back of the farm

For the farmers on here who have or had pigs at the back of the farm.

I have a collection of 35mm photos that I have mentioned before on this forum.
I have sorted out some for the pig lovers on here

    A "culprit pig".....

The fence line was no problem for this boar, he just went straight through it.

Some farmers must get tired of fixing up fences/paddocks because of pig damage?

Photo 2 ... Pigs leaving the flat
Photo 3 ... Pigs heading up the hill
Photo 4 ... Pigs heading for the bush line

Foot note. There was a lot more pigs than is shown above.

I may put up some more photos or leave it?

Looks like big numbers & some decent size boars. Any deer in that scrub country?

    Replies.....

Chainsaw, you asked about deer in the scrub.
Red deer have been in the Wairarapa for years as we know. Perhaps others can put their deer photos up here too....

SmokeyJason, perhaps I will put up a few more if you want me to?

Most of these photos are 35mm images from the past. Some are a little bit blurry?

landmarks...up behing the old mill is only place that might fit it into our old farm..but newer bulldozed tracks dont fit my memory and ridges are blurred with time..lovely country where ever it is.

The Wairarapa section of bush and scrub that I hunt is being prevented from regenerating by severe pig digging. Sure it has goats too but the pigs are wreaking havoc with the regrowth, and they're really active and digging deep. Fresh holes and crap every time I go up, and I wonder if the clearings aren't getting bigger. If anyone with some dogs doesn't mind me tagging along I can show you the spot. Max 2 dogs because it's on DOC land.

Identify your target beyond all doubt because you never miss (right?) and I'll be missed.
