Size:  3.99 MB. While we are on about food poisoning and meat prep here's an info photo for you. This is the liver of a rabbit suffering from cocciciosis a protozoan infection. Note the change of colour in the liver and the internal cavity will hold coagulated blood, often you can express bloody urine too. I've more photos but haven't figured out how to attach them can only show this one. Cocci mainly affects younger rabbits you'd probably want to throw this sort of rabbit rather than eat it.
