And those restrictions will be decided by us, the majority of hunters who hunt those areas. Remember, the GAC is us deciding what we want. The days of they deciding what is going to happen to us and our animals are what we are trying to leave behind!
Well, dont say I didnt warn you....!!!! Ten, fifteen years, if that...we'll see...

Any Politics belong in the offal pit at the bottom of the home page.

Romans developed a cunningness of speech and a sleight of tongue to disguise a motive they wanted hidden, when more truthfully they should have used malice and guile.

They knew their person always liked to be gazed upon or revered, their speech suited their ego, they wanted power, easy jobs above the laity, control.

The historical building of our culture stems from Egyptian capitalism, Jewish religion and Roman politics, its tolerated in society, tolerated in various associations, and by choice, if the forum mods so desire, we dont have to have it here.

    EeeBees,
The yanks have seasons because they have more hunters than deer, and their deer are indigenous. Without seasons or controls, they would shoot their game out in a very short time. We are completely the opposite. We have far more deer than hunters, and they are introduced not indigenous. We will never have seasons.
    Tussock,
Only a tiny area is being managed for trophies. The real reason we need to manage our own game animals is so that those who just want to be able to shoot whatever whenever they want, actually have something to shoot. Any members who aren't interested can simply choose not to read this. Those that want to have some input into the future of our sport will read it and it will hopefully help them help all of us.
If the majority of the forum class this as politics and don't want it on the forum, so be it. That's fair enough.

This is the New Zealand Hunting and Shooting Forum...therefore I am not going to argue the toss because that is why we all crossed the river to get to this ridge to get away from that sort of stuff...

Some of us want to have a forum where we can discuss our hobby/passion without constant heated debate about politics (and religion). This is why the forum was created in the first place, and what makes it stand out from other similar forums in NZ. I'm sure many members have an interest in politics (myself included) but there is a time and place and this forum is neither.

Most of us came here to get away from ,for want of a better word "crap" on hunt fish. Most of which was caused by politics or religion.

Its a good post and I support it but it doesn't belong here.

This place is for hunting/shooting and I hope a bit of friendly banter(sarcastic remarks) between friends

Hunt fish is the place for it.

Lots of us are still members on hunt fish and if we feel so inclined we could look in politics over there
