They would have a hard time trying to feed off mum.
When I was at ak uni doing biology in the late 70s the biology department had a museum of pickled mutations and other things. I remember a sheep foetus with another head growing out of the stomach, and some kittens with extra legs.
Mutations like that rarely survive if they make it to full term.
Years ago on a Waimate farm i seen a just born dead lamb with only one large eye dead centre back from its nose.Its mouth n nose abit munted.Frecky looking thing.
They had a documentary about 10 years after the Chernobyl disaster. They went through one of the local maternity wards. Had a whole heap of aborted Fetus in jars. You name it they had it from two heads to one eye. Always wondered after seeing that if Homer was writing about it in his odyssey.
Now I’m not saying that radiation is in NZ. But when farming Dad had a few crazy births from inside out through to Siamese twins.
