I saw one very large heavy animal 10-11 days ago that had cast already, which was a bit of a surprise. If its the one that I think it is, then he fits your 'biggest of red stags' criteria. But the regular sized animals were intact. The last couple of asymmetrical heads we've taken out have been nowhere near casting, 2 weeks ago.

I have seen older stags cast in early august before ( closer to the coast) further south they will be a bit later along with the younger animals. Sika are generally later than reds .

    What's with that TTS?
We’ve cut oversize velvet in end of September one year...🤨...certainly feeding and breeding programs do wonderful things..
