Roar tag along offer if you reasonable fit, local to nelson, muirchison area.

Hi, going Saturday for a stag in a pretty reasonable place. walks prob 1.5 to 2 hours but not steep.(thats to hunting zone)

Be there just before first light and maybe 4pm before back at car but chances of roaring stags be pretty good.
One time offer, maybe newby or someone that wants to know what bush stalking is all about .either leave a message on post or pm me and if i a worthy person wants
to go i may take you.
Cant guarantee anything but shot 6 stags 6 years in row in there(in roar) and have been ok ones (all Doc land). May need to share the carry(getting old)
Cant promise you shoot it but unless its a monster or have to you prob will .
Best response will get a pm otherwise i go alone like normal and post the story and pictures how it goes.
If a lucky person comes along be prepared to be posted on site and maybe video of you shooting a stag . Not worried but thought i put a offer out.
Four mates that would be keen cant go on saturday so could be your lucky day or your sons or daughters.
Condiations...can handle the bush and can handle all day in the bush....not for unfit people as not carrying you out unless i have to...

An incredibly generous offer @deer243, but alas, wrong island (although I'm probably right end of the wrong island), and I'm heading North for a tangi on Sunday. Best of luck, and I hope someone takes you up on what is a cracking offer! Wonder if maybe @bawlbag could be keen?

I would be happy to keep you company @deer243 .
Not the fittest or fastest guy on the planet but our walks tend to be 3-4 hrs each way and always day trips, but has been quite a while since last wander.
Or my 19yr old may be keen instead of me to go, FAL holder, as he has yet to get his first deer and would no doubt love to brag about it to his old man...

Wow what an awesome day out for someone - taking out my son (14yr)
Saturday out in murch for hopefully something roaring - I just want to see his face he’s going to sh@t himself.
    That’s half the fun.

If I was up your way I'd be in like a robbers dog! imagine how the locals would tremble at the prospect of 2 .243's lurking in the hills

    Awesome stuff @deer243

Regardless if the hunt is successful or not he will learn heaps from just watching how you go about things. Lucky lad !!

    Look forward to the report.
Enjoy the day, forecast looks good

Looked at this thread earlier and thought “How has no one taken you up on this?”

Good on you for the offer, keen to see a report when it’s done.
