RST Hunters Club - New Series

Evening all. Our new series gets underway tonight for those of you who've got SKY Sport, for those without - it'll air later in the year on Prime TV.

First episode is a mid winter tahr and chamois mission. The block we're hunting was one of the additional areas that's normally off limits, following the dramas around ZIP operations in the block we had originally drawn. It's pretty epic terrain, hard going but visually pretty spectacular.

Hope those of you that tune in get a kick out of it, feel free to fire through any questions you have and I'll do my best to answer them tonight following the ep.

For those after something a little warmer at this time of the year, check out our interview/video with the Morning Rumble from earlier today -

    Cheers!

That certainly brought back some fantastic memories of that block! You did well, it was hard going in that snow piled on top of the scrub. I think the few of us that got to hunt it were pretty privileged, it’s a stunning spot and very untouched seeing as it normally not accessible by chopper.

    Our campsite

I’m sure this is the same nanny that you guys kept bumping into

Certainly provided some sketchy recoveries after that snow had been in the sun all day

Thanks for bringing back those memories guys! Awesome episode!

It was well and truely passed out sunbathing haha. We always have a good laugh that Janny went and brought a heap of the fancy (new at the time) Stoney Creek Sisterhood gear. Wore it all week then just wore whatever fleeces she had left over as we were waiting for the chopper. Then who should jump out but the Hunters club filming in all their Stoney Creek gear. She was spewing!

Iv really enjoyed the series but the association with the despicable green shop (DGS) rules me out in future. best of luck though.

Bit of everything in tonight's episode - some awesome pigunnin' action, fallow deer, wallaby whack down, and even a cheeky semi-auto makes an appearance.

Hope it gets the tick of approval. Regular service resumes with more of a hard yards public land mission next week...
