Nah, not really. The animal didn't exhibit particularly strong traits, being a 9 pointer will missing tines, but the decision to take him was entirely down to Brad who was on the trigger.

The fact that lockdown was looming and it might be the only chance to fill the freezer for the next month or so probably influenced his thinking too.

We try and keep locations under wraps as best we can, to protect the locals who hunt these areas as well, so can't really divulge sorry.

really enjoyed the show...as did the good wife who detests fallow venison (fellas DONT feed wifey venison when she has belly full of arms and legs) particularly enjoyed the up close bits in the bush...that wee spiker was classic...where was the bow when you couldve made great use of it...

Good to see Hunting Show's are allowed to announce new series/episodes on this forum again?

Loved the episode last night, but...............if the guy mentioned the "redemption buck" once, he referred to it 672 times, I'm sure! One more mention, and I was going to put my boot through the screen!!!

Looked like a long action kimber in a custom stock to me? Maybe a 300win mag? I’m pretty sure they have teamed up with hardy this season but pretty sure that wasn’t a hardy rifle.
