Any one catch the episode last night? Missed the start but was wondering what location they were in ? Plenty of chamois and a few reds. The country reminded me of the Matukituki

When I saw the location I thought that’s what the team were after, surprised they never saw/filmed any.

An eagle eye would of seen a few in the hut.

Probably not something they want to show, I'm sure they seen a few but poaching or general wandering of people probably puts them off showcasing it to the world

We went metric in 1976, before most of the RSTHC lads were born!
Is it to appeal to the American market?
because a 6lb trout is big..a 2kg one not so much.......
hit with a 4x2 sounds correct...hit with 100x50 not so much
MOST sporting measurements are still yards n inches or pounds...... it just is.

You are correct, a 6lb trout is bigger than a 4.4lb trout!

The watch is a Garmin Tactix Delta Ballistic edition, quite a sexy piece of kit. Elastic field covers - not quite sure what you mean (cameraman Dave answering this, so not as savvy at firearm related questions). Anto uses a sling made by Solo Huntr which often gets queries from viewers.

Spot on. There were plenty seen, after spending so many days stalking the buggers on Stewart Island trying to capture a glimpse on camera, it was a hard task not filming them prancing about in the tussock country. We've made a call not to do any mainland Whitetail episodes though, there's enough pressure on the herd without us making it worse.

He'd be referring to one of these I think Camerman Dave
