    Ruahine virgin

    Been a while since stalking days (25 actually)
    Girls,kids and such anyway want to get back into it ,a few day excursions first any ideas where I can drive in deep or walk a river flat,im living in Takapau CHB
    So the Ruahine is on my for step so no more excuses

    If you find one, let me know - otherwise climb to the tops and shoot one of the herds of reds that are up there at the minute, thats the best technique ive found in the ruahines. Great numbers around on the tops. Especially this time of year/ next 2 months.

    Try up towards longview mate! Always great hunting at this time of the year in there. Try to time it so its not a 100 mile/hr wind, and you a bound to see something!

    I know a guy who got to hunt both those days last year

    But ..... How long to get up to Longview hut from Kashmir (not by chopper either)
