    Savage axis trigger job

    Anyone know if you can source the spring kits to lighten the pull of the savage axis trigger in NZ? There’s a few places in Australia selling them but would prefer to source locally if possible.

    Also after an action screw for the same model

    The above video is for the Axis with the Accu-trigger.
    The first model of Axis came with the old Stevens 200 trigger which was horrible. If the OP has the older style trigger then these two videos are what I used to lower my Axis from ~9-pound trigger to ~2.5 pds:

    It’s the same action/trigger as shown in those videos, a few places are selling pre made kits no including a lighter spring and over travel screw. I’ll probably go that way I think.
