Nats should have got stuck in right at the time of the assembly of the Oic Exec. They should have responded immediately to the strring by Alpers and Clark in the U.S. press the following day and then again when the NZ Police union and Ardern followed Alpers and Clarks comments. I.E., well before even the first tranche actions by Nash and the first Select Committee hearings ( which we all know were farcical). The Nats failed miserably, seeking hysterical populist media vote broking instead.
I told Nats exactly that at Sika show.
We really must support COLFO hard and all object via submitting a BIG NO to the second tranche bill.
ANY further restrictions placed upon New Zeanders as a result of Tarrants ATTACK UPON NEW ZEALAND and OUR CITIZENS becomes a further win for Tarrant and his extremist terrorist mates upon NEW ZEALANDERS. US!
I fail to accept that our parliament would find it acceptable to actually EFFECTIVELY EXTEND Tarrants attack sucess (in his aims and views) by removing ANY of our hard won rights and freedoms and hurting us.
Parliament needs its ruddy collective heads read.
WHY is parliament giving a terrorist MORE WINS? And to New Zealnders cost?
