Like most competitions it requires people to be honest on where they are taken and by whom. From what i have heard i dont think the organizers are strict enough with checking permits and info etc
That's my views on the Sika show too.
The guys who own/run it do so as a business.
It's up to them to run their business the way they want to.
If a business is run in such a way that the public don't like it, it will fail.
Attendance numbers at the Sika show would suggest the public think it's OK.
To those who don't like it, start their own show.
Overkill is still dead.
With all the measurement variations, I think a TMO maybe needed
Boom, cough,cough,cough
That's fine for you popular guys who have mates.
Overkill is still dead.
Oh no, I’m tuning the violin,
Boom, cough,cough,cough
I thought it was pretty much the same as last year.
I have been going for a very long time, and I don't think of it as a Sika Show any more... just a Hunting Expo. I do enjoy going, and this year was good as well because I managed to win a few prizes. However I don't know if I'll be back. Its just such a long haul up from Wanganui to have a look at stuff I either can't afford or don't need!...
I do miss the times where it was just about the heads though. There used to be tables and tables of heads to look over. This year there seemed to be hardly any at all on the wall. But what ones were there were pretty impressive!
Does anyone by chance remember the brand of the chassis on display in the Beretta stand that had a handle thing underneath?
now lads - leave family out of the discussion....
I went up, quite enjoyed it. Got a good deal on some stuff I wanted to check out in person rather than buy online and found out about some stuff I'd never have heard about without going.
Reckon a South Island version would be good. Run it like a hunt competition with vendors to make it a bit different.
