There is an archery club set up on the main road heading south out of Hamilton past PAC and save. Have a play there first before you fill animals with arrows and see them run off to die a painful slow death.

I spooked a couple in there on sunday. Didnt see them and they were only 30 metres away. I find the west henderson tram (carpark by bridge on old kaimai rd)
to be a better and quicker way in to better areas of bush. If you see a deer in there it will definitely be in bow range!
Hey diddle diddle, aim for the middle.

Never liked the idea of leaving a car there.
There was some old homeless looking guy living in that car park for a couple of months a few years back.

If you mean Ol'possumjack...he's dead know...passed away sometime in the last year or two.
Which is worse, ignorance or apathy...I don't know and don't care.

Bit unnecessary mate . He was purely asking for a opinion on a book and somewhere to start not your secret spot. I don't have a problem helping guys like him out if they ask nicely and respectfully.
