Still a bit early for the Sika, a few hee-haws but that's it. The handlebar 6pt did however come charging in to a single call from 700m away. All cull stags, I suspect the 8 is going backwards as he's got a bit of age. Left a promising 8ptr probably 4yo and 160ish DS.

i was in North Canterbury same day and heard nothing til after dark, heaps going on then.. i was keen as to get back but have pulled a muscle or something lol. that'll teach me for not getting out more often
Still no roaring where I was in the kaimais this morning. This guy walked right into me though
no roaring in tararuas and hunterville pine forests yesterday or today, stags still grouped in apiti doc edge last couple of days.
13 points, splayed tops. Seen this genetic before in the same area. One of the biggest body stags I've shot

Had a few stags roaring at me yesterday but still in their Batchelor groups.Saw 7 together in one group, 4 in another.hinds still by themselves
1st stinky for the season and rys 1st ever buck she made the call this 1 needed to be culled as 1 antler and 1 of its front legs was ceased at the knee 55gr 223 to the neck/brisket at 263yrd well dun little 1
