Good stuff, Shearer, trust a lefty to customise things properly.
What sort of range do you confidently blow those pills out to?

I have it zeroed at 50m and won't shoot much further than that. I have to use the top point of the thick post on the reticule as my aiming mark and leave the scope on 3x so it gets a bit tricky to go much futher out in the field. Accuracy is great and it would no doubt kill at a much greater distance if I was confident to shoot futher.

Very little. You can just see the entry hole in the shoulder. The exit was not much bigger but much bloodier.

    I've wonderd the same question.
You would probably need to run 105gn plus projectiles if you wanted to try on goat's and even deer wouldn't you?

I wouldn't expect them to do much damage.

I loaded up some 87 gn bullets with some Trailboss awhile ago for an old 243 I had .
I never shot any animals with it , but it was accurate , no recoil , not very loud . I don't know how fast they were going .

200 grainers in a 308 with 10g of Trailboss is great for head shots.

Need 15moa dialled in for a 100yrd zero (when normal zero is for supersonic ammo)
A big fast bullet beats a little fast bullet every time
