Have spent a couple of trips trying to take a whitetail from the Dart/Reese valleys with no success in the early 2000's apart from a couple of sightings of doe's waving there tails at me as they were doing the bolt.
Gave up on that and moved my sights to Tahr and Chamois in 2018 after a few trips in the Austrian alps got me keen on Chamois.
Glad i did, as had a bit more luck with them.

Tahr went 14 1/8 on one side, 13 3/4 on the other with 10 1/4 inch bases
Chamois was a touch over 9 on both sides.
Hoping the Rona restrictions wont be forever and we can all get back on with the finer things in life in the future.
