    There is a small population of fallow on the opposite side of the valley, a few km away.
    I would put my trail cam up, but I know a few local dropkicks poach this spot so don't want to risk it
    I think that's a good call on the pellets on the right being goat.
    The stuff on the left could be either deer or possum. If it is possum though there would only be a few pellets, say 6-8, while a fallow will leave 30+. If the deer was walking while it took the dump then the pellets can be scattered along a line and not so obvious as a pile left when stationary.

    I thought the pellets on the right had been stood on end to show diameter? if they are spherical definatly not deer shit.

    deer shit has a flat end and a slightly pointed end like the freshest looking stuff in middle of pic

    what time of year, i'd say stag fight poo, my experience wth afterbirth is that its usually in more or less one piece

    You would be pretty hard pressed to find deer afterbirth Gibo. I farmed reds for eighteen years and never ever saw any.
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
