    Te Tapui B block March/April

Hey team. I've got a ballot for Te Tapui B block in early March and one in early April. I've never been there and keen for any advice anyone can offer on access and hunting the area.

It looks like the only road access is Piakonui road where A and B block meet in the middle. Is there any other public access into the block?

Any tips for hunting the block appreciated, not asking for your secret spot but any steer is welcome. Is there any bush edge which isn't on farm land? It'd be awesome if the Fallow were croaking but we might be a little early for that in early April?

Had that block similar time last year, had one croaking on farm next door at first light.
Didn't see an animal, got the feeling they used the bush to just travel between the surrounding pasture.

It's a big bit of bush I'd just chose one area a day and hope you intersect something.

What's the Bush like? Is is open beneath the canopy or full of supplejack?

    I went there in September.
Bush varies a lot, from being surprisingly open to very dense full of supple jack. Very noisy underfoot in there.

Doesn't appear to be too many clearings and I wouldn't could on being able to find a spot over looking farm land.

Every native block I've been into has areas of thick supplejack part of the game I guess, start figuring out which features it is less likely to grow and use those as access .

In saying that I can confirm that block does seem to have above average supplejack so take secateurs haha.
