    There was a rescue up near Urchin yesterday mate. Just be aware, I'm based in Rotorua but heard it come over our channel. Not too sure what the guts was however they said it did take a bit to get up there.

    With this weather forecast well in advance (at least a week) that was a totally unnecessary rescue. Some people just don't think of consequences.

    I took the family into the western Kawekas for an extended Waitangi weekend (in Fri, out Tue). We were commenting at the time how we were glad the trip wasn't a week earlier, now I'm really thankful we weren't a week later.
