And what if your chances of speeding past a cop were slim to f all, would you take the chance even at a few hundy a pop? In time you would

Not if jail time was an option at all ever.
I'm the guy that will get caught that one time I do something dumb every time.

And 90%of the time my chances of speeding past a cop ARE slim to fuck all...I live in the south island.

Also has links to police who hunt his property... Not condoning what these fellas did and a good out come from the judge, but sometimes the kettle does call the pot black and this individual has lived a privileged life and is no better then who he accuses. As the old saying goes " a poacher hates nothing more than another poacher!"
If you come up past my house at night with a light out the window or acting suss you will get stopped and asked for identification and when don't and you get up the road and there's a tractor blocking it to the cops arrive. Poaching is at a all time high, its not into you live in the country you realise and its only getting worse around gisborne. Hunting comp's don't help

I would prefer an increase in both.

It is not possible to get a more non religious person than me but that part of documented history (a man got nailed to a cross) I do tend to subscribe to.

The Romans used up a huge amount of timber building crosses. Large numbers of people who were being naughty in their eyes were nailed to such crosses not just the so called one. Have a good day Rushy.

Wow that young chap payed a hefty price for a deer for sure, sad to see someone becoming so desperate.
You lot are pretty quick off the mark to put him up on a cross though...have none of you's ever been naughty yourselves?
Poaching has been going on for decades but I guess nowadays events are all based around what happened to that lady who was cleaning her teeth wearing a head lamp?
There could and most likely is more to this latest story eh.

Unlawful hunting shouldn't happen and should be punished appropriately. Now I've said that, I have a genuine, if naive question. What is the main concern here? Safety?

question has to be asked...if he had spotlight, was the thermal gear for other less savoury intentions.....meth was involved so maybe a cash crop hidden somewhere nearby??? of was a cookup in rear of car at road end being planned??? they tell me it happens a lot in the states and gamewardens etc have to be VERY wary....... poisoned gintraps and shotguns on trip wires have been known to be used here in the past to protect the patch of the horticulturly minded.
