Thread: Wallaby dogs rotorua?

Anybody in the rotorua area have dogs that catch wallabies that I could take my dog out with to give it the general idea?
She's a pig dog that didn't quite make the cut as the big pigs are too scary, but she was also well trained and I've had a hard time getting her to chase anything other than pigs

Take her up Waipa around change of light. She'll get the hang of it pretty quick.

Go shoot a few with her along so she learns that's what your after.they learn to chase them all too easily, believe me it's harder to stop then chasing than get them to start. Most dogs that will chase a rabbit or cat just can't resist hoppers. Use shotgun n don't miss and the dog will enjoy the game.
