i was number 27X application.... so theres a fair few entering. i was fairly latish to the party.. i forget how many total allocations each ballot.

its always been a common theme, though i think you locals can capitolize on the last chance draw on empty blocks on the 7th if yer lucky....

There's 52 blocks and 4 periods so 200ish opportunities. You weren't that late a mate was 980 if I remember right I was in the 600s

ive only been hangin out for it since 2020...wsa hoping everyone forgot about it with Covid jabs etc ah haa

i did ask the doc person for if there ws somewhere to find info on the ballot, numebrs, stats etc... an i asked why i didnt get picked lol.... refering to , is it becoz blocks i chose were popular, or is it a total random, or if the info would show XX % put in for Block A would be kind of cool....... we are in 2022

being from out of town, with 3 banwell books , i picked spots that may of been extremely useful back in 1930..... not so today but it was more about being in that spot, with the chance of hearing that noise... that creates the magic of the place.

I ended up getting block 38 (not one I applied for or the period but I'm stoked).

    Anyone been in there?

Haven’t been into that particular catchment but most around there. It’ll be worth the trip!

I'm drawn to the mountains and the bush, it's where life is clear, where the world makes the most sense.

Cheers mate, she looks like some massive country all right

Have you been up those ways before?

Looks like flying in and walking out could be the go.

I dont think you can fly in there as is national park no landing. Happy to be corrected/confirmed if others know. Is about a 3-4 hour hike into first camp site as such.
