Took her for a look this morning Rushy nobody home in the first light did find fresh sign of the stag and followed that in the frost for a bit no sign of the hind think someone may have shot her which might explan why the stag was off before the light.

That's a pity about not catching up with the stag. When do the start to cast their antlers down there? Is it about now?

Depending on area about now, my lawns have been going ape shit for a month but where we were spring is only just starting. Just the first fresh pick starting under scrubby trees where it gets some protection from frost but still gets light.

Thanks guys, as soon as I head that way I will give it a try. Any other ideas? Seems like there might be a few out near Rai, and Going to have a look up some of the rivers out by Richmond/Brightwater

You might find the more tasty less smelly version of a goat the Fallow deer round that area Be sure you are on public land or have a forestry permit
