Any of those calibers with the right projectile will do the job. You need to be comfortable shooting so having the caliber of your choice is paramount. You have to confident when pulling the trigger that you are going for a 1 shot humane kill and that comes down to placement

You will need to pass through emigration everytime you come south as we have strict rules down here.
Just put on a prosthetic 6th finger and you pass straight through the gate and be welcomed like a cousin

Would agree with R93 on the cals though.

Id tend to keep it simple and go with 308 or 7mm08. You can find ammo for it anywhere and it's not going to cost you an arm and a leg.

you cant go wrong with anything in the range of 25-06 , 6.5's, 270's and 7mm's thru 308 or 3006. All will do the job and then some, and in most hunting situations your shooting will be 300 yrd or less, quite often < 100. Start with something all purpose and then once you're in Godzone and figure out where and what you want to hunt you can add a 2nd more specialised rifle. Best option here is to have one gun for bush hunting ( a 'bush pig', very often a short barrel 7mm08 or 308) and a 2nd longer range rig like a 7mmRM or wsm (7mm or 300) or 300WM. Start simple and go from there.
