    I balked at the $50 charge for a piece of injection molded plastic that the local hunting shops wanted so the traffic cone is getting a haircut - good idea Matt

    half a powerade bottle seems enough to get the wairarapa reds going.. the price is more than manageable compared to some of those fancy shop jobbies haha

    Yep that is right GA, or cockle shells if you are after Sika
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

    Length of flexible 40mm pipe from Payless Plastics resonates well, it is certainly cheaper than the proprietary ones that H & F Hamills etc sell. Advantage being flexible is I can get slightly differing tones out of it

    In the past, a length of PVC tube, powerade bottle with the arse cut out, etc. This year, my custom bullhorn made by Sneeze I won in last years NZHS story comp can't wait to put it to the test!
